A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

 

Hey y’all hey 👋🏽

I’m Di’Shaun, owner RH Waisted. I am wife to a handsome hunk, mommy to 5 incredible humans, plus an amazing bonus daughter, and while home during the pandemic, I developed a passion for creating waist beads and I have been on go ever since.

RH Waisted Waist Beads is simply me returning back to the universe what I have been so fortunate to experience. All our strands are named after souls I’ve encountered on my journey. Some briefly and others I'll never let go. I hope you are as blessed to experience them in this form as I have been in life. I truly believe we are all connected and you landing here is not a coincidence.

Lastly, I must say, it is such a pleasure to serve each you. Thank you for believing. You believed when I wasn’t quite there. When all I had was some thread, a few beads, and a dream. Almost 5 years in and so many of you continue to come back and that gives me hope like you wouldn’t believe. A million thank you’s doesn’t seem like enough but, I hope the quality, time, effort, and love I pour into my work is sufficient. Remember whether you wear waist beads as a symbol of feminism or to gauge your weight as I do, wear them with pride. I love you all!
